Know the other team before the first serve
Before each match, a scouting report on your team's opponent: the game plan, who to watch by jersey number, how they score, and the three numbers that decide it. Built from every rally they've played this season.
A real report
Written before a real match on October 3, 2026. This is exactly what fans received; we've blurred the team and player names.
Ddndnd Nn. is the favorite (80%) with the best sideout % in D2 (1/283), but Odndn Rdndnd Hn. (power rank 7) has a big middle block and the SDATH's most efficient hitter in #6 Udndn Adndndn. Serve at their weaker passers, keep our serve errors down, and win the sideout battle.
- Serve at their weaker passers
Odndn Rdndnd Hn. has a reception error % of .099 in conference play (9th of 11 in the SDATH). #3 Mdnd Tndn has been aced on 10.1% of serves received (7 on 69), #4 Ednd Hndndndnd on 7.1% (9 on 127), and #10 Cdndn Edndnd on 6.5% (12 on 186). Their steadier passers are #17 Ddndnd Nnd (3.0%), #2 Udndnd Tndndn (4.1%) and #1 Cdndnd Sndnd (4.5%). Rdnd has played 30 sets to Tdndnd's 40, so she may not be on the floor the whole match.
- Expect a big block in the middle, and hit smart
Odndn Rdndnd Hn. blocks 2.286 per set in conference play (2nd of 11) and holds conference opponents to .12 hitting (1st of 11). #18 Hdndndn Mdn leads with 39 block points, #6 Udndn Adndndn has 36 and #12 Adndndn Udndndn has 27. Ddndnd Nn. hits .345 (2nd in D2), so keep using Sdndn (.435), Ndn (.393) and Ldndndnd (.378). Be patient, use the block, and look for good shots over swinging hard into two blockers.

How it's made
- Every report is generated from a scouting pack: every rally, box score and play-by-play line NCAA has for both teams this season.
- Every number, rank and jersey in it is fact-checked against that data before it goes out.
- We can't watch film, so it doesn't judge shot direction or rotations. Each report states specifically what the data doesn't cover.
- It only says good or neutral things about your own team's players.
Questions
When do reports arrive?
Two to three days before each match. We email you when each one is ready.
Who can see them?
Only you. Reports are tied to the email you buy with: sign in with that email to read them.
What if a match moves or is canceled?
Reports follow the official schedule, so a moved match gets its report before the new date. A canceled match doesn't get one.
What if a report is late?
If a report isn't up before the match starts, we add the postseason package to your account for free (or, if you already have the postseason or bought a single report, your next report is free). It happens automatically, and we'll email you.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: a full refund within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email support@d2vbstats.com. After that, sales are final, and the on-time promise covers late reports.
How do I reach you?
Email support@d2vbstats.com, or just reply to any email from us.
Is this the same as what coaches use?
It's built from the same data. The fan edition is a match preview for players, families and fans; it isn't meant to replace the coaching staff's game plan.
