Privacy

If you sign in: your email address, the teams you pick and follow, whether you asked for update emails, and when you signed up and last signed in.
If you buy: your email address, what you bought, for which team, the amount and the date. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy covers what it collects to process the payment.
If you're on a coaching staff: the email addresses your head coach adds to the staff list, and any match files (such as DataVolley .dvw files) your staff uploads, with who uploaded them and when.
If you email us: your message and address, so we can answer.
One cookie that keeps you signed in. Your team picks and a few display settings are also stored in your browser. If you arrive from a tagged link (from a post or an ad), a second cookie remembers that link for 30 days so we know which places are worth posting in; if you buy, the purchase records it.
Site analytics: we use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are useful and which links get clicked (like the Watch and scouting buttons). It sets its own cookies and doesn't get your name, email or anything you've bought. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Our hosting providers keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.

To sign you in, remember your teams, deliver what you bought, and email you your reports.
If you checked the box, to send occasional emails about D2 volleyball and related projects, including the Monday D2 Report. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can turn them off on your account page.
We don't sell your information or share your email address with sponsors or anyone else. Emails may include messages from sponsors.

Scouting reports are written by AI (Anthropic's Claude) from public NCAA statistics, then fact-checked against that data. Only team and player statistics go to the AI; your email, account and payment details never do.
If your staff uploads its own match files, we summarize them into team and player statistics (pass ratings, sideout, rotations and the like) for your own reports and advanced stats. Those summaries go to the AI only when it writes your team's reports. Your files are never shown to families, other teams or anyone outside your staff list, never used for anyone else's reports, and never sold. Remove any file from your account page; files are deleted for good when you remove them or ask us to.

Railway (hosting), Cloudflare (domain, and storage and backups for uploaded files), Google Analytics (visit counts), Stripe (payments), Resend (sending email), Fastmail (our support inbox) and Anthropic (writing reports from public stats). Each handles only what it needs to do its job.

Change your teams or turn off emails anytime on your account page.
Delete your account there too; it removes your email and settings. We keep records of purchases as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Team and player statistics come from public NCAA box scores and play-by-play, and the AVCA coaches poll. This is an unofficial fan site, not affiliated with the NCAA, the AVCA, any conference or any school.
The site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and tell account holders by email.
